BIOSHOCK for PS3 should be amazing. I hope more game developers will take advantage of what the PS3 can really do. Metal Gear Solid4 will be the first to offer such a large game into one disc.
also:
Call of Duty 5

BLACK 2
RESIDENT EVIL 5
FINAL FANTASY 13
I’m hoping more developers run with it to. I’m sure we’d get some absolutely amazing games.
Comment by Mac 5 June 2008 @ 15:45I know 2009 should be huge for the PS3.
KILLZONE 2 & RESIDENT EVIL 5 will be out and from what the early previews are showing, it looks like I’ll be buying both games.
The biggest problem is game developers and companies are not getting the extra funds to make better and larger version of a “game” for the PS3.
Take “Ratchet & Clank:Tools of Destruction”
I’m not a fan of the previous games but the developers took the extra time into it and I even own this game. The graphics, playability, acting and visuals are insane.
More and more games could be of this caliber but its either time, money or both that restriction how well a game will turn-out. I do miss games being LONG ENOUGH. Heavenly Sword and Call of Duty 4 was very short. The online made up for COD4 but I think the games should be and offer a killer online experience. I’ll stop writing a book.
talk to ya later+
Comment by controlling chaos 5 June 2008 @ 16:16Have you seen anything about Borderlands? Also supposed to be out in 2009 and also looking very, very good.
I unfortunately haven’t been able to play COD4 yet but I’ve heard it’s awesome. And I’m holding off on R&C:ToD until I finish the other ones (I know, I’m being a bit anal-retentive about the whole thing, but I want to play them in order.
I remember reading somewhere (and I could be completely wrong about this) that developers have been making shorter games to appeal to people who don’t have hours to sit down and play. I’m all for a good short game, but I also want a game that’s going to take me more than a few days to finish. Yet another reason I’m hyped about Fallout 3.
Comment by Mac 5 June 2008 @ 17:46For Call of Duty 4, the game is a stand alone title.
the other Call of Duty games are WW2 theme and have a different feel all together. I have played #2 & #3. Both are well designed but nothing compared to COD4. The amount of time and money for the design is amazing. I use to play BLACK for PS2 and I thought that game was impressive. COD4 is a lot more real plus it’s taken more seriously due to it’s current with todays weapons and military.
Take the plunge and pick up a copy today. Don’t miss-out before the Call of Duty 5 is out.

Blast that pesky pricetag. I’ve seen the video for it and it looks awesome. So many games, so little time (and money).
Comment by Mac 6 June 2008 @ 22:31I know – One only has time for so many games + you also need to get everything else besides playing games finished. I don’t get to play as much as I use to but COD4 is worth every penny.
I bought Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition on Ebay for $49.95 brand spanking new. If you want the seller’s name let me know. It’s brand new and no gimmicks. I received my copy 3 weeks ago and Wow what a deal…
